CPSA Calls for a Reimagined Congressional Workweek

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Following a vote of the general body, the Congressional Progressive Staff Association has sent a letter to congressional leadership calling on them to support the idea of piloting a rotating 32-hour work week for staffers. The letter was delivered to the offices of Speaker Mike Johnson, Senate Majority Leader John Thune, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer this afternoon.
